Witness #15 is the 18-year-old sister of (Austin McLendon Witness #14), and was one of the 911 callers about the shooting. In days following the event, Austin and their mother (Cheryl Brown) did interviews with major news media outlets.

Witness Summary:

This is a call from a female who reports that her brother ran in the house after someone was shot. The brother then reports that he saw “a man laying on the ground that needed help that was screaming.” He said he was going to help, but his dog got off the leash. He said he heard a loud sound and then the screaming stopped.

The dog getting off the leash saved his life. I have NO doubt that if he had went to help Trayvon GZ would have shot him too.

Axiom, you have done an excellent job of putting information and audio together with the witness list.  But I believe Witness 15 is not the the sister. If she was witness 15 she would of been interviewed with supporting written documentation like everyone else. Wives or girlfriends of other witnesses who did not call 911 that evening were interviewed. Even if they didn’t see anything they were interviewed.  At the very least a written statement would of been provided by the sister of her  dialing 911 and saying she called for her brother but didn’t see anything.  From witness number 13 he states he came out with his flashlight and his phone ready to call 911.  He says he sounds like he was on the phone, he asked him do I need to call 911, GZ says no I just got off the phone with them.  My take is witness 15 is GZ 911 call after he shot Trayvon Martin. It would also make sense there is no interview follow up because he already had an attorney. Its on the discovery list because they have all the 911 calls from that evening which they have to provide to O’Mara for discovery.

Witness #15 is Witness #14′s sister.  The files we obtained from the Florida State Attorney’s Office were labeled with the witness number.  This 911 call is is the only audio file listed for Witness #15.  Since we know that Witness #14 is a male (because was interviewed on audio by police), we can conclude that Witness #15 is his sister–she even says so in the call.

Thank you Cheri for your response. I still don’t understand why then the state would list witness 14 with a 911 call on 2/26/12 and a follow up interview with SPD on 3/5/12. Then list a separate 911 call for witness 15 on 2/26 with no interview. Its just  seems very confusing to list two 911 calls when in reality it was one with two people on the call if you follow my train of thought. I still claim that a written or followup interview  should of been done with the sister even if she didn’t see the event, she still placed the call.

The mom can’t have her son as a witness in favor of the white dude. She had to straighten him out.
